About Me
I am a data analyst and prospective graduate researcher focused on Agricultural and Resource Economics (ARE). My work sits at the intersection of applied econometrics and agricultural finance—using code not just to optimize business metrics, but to empirically evaluate agricultural productivity, land use, and financial inclusion.
Research Focus
My interest in Resource Economics stems from my professional background in Agri-Fintech, where I integrated agricultural production data with financial metrics to refine farmer credit-scoring parameters. I am specifically interested in:
- Climate & Resource Economics: How do temperature and precipitation variances impact regional crop yields? (See my Panel Data Analysis project).
- Spatial & Land Use Economics: How do digital platforms and policy changes reshape physical neighborhoods and housing markets? (See my Airbnb Effect project).
- Agricultural Finance & Risk: How can we evaluate and mitigate demographic bias in fintech lending and rural credit scoring? (See my Credit Risk Audit project).
Research Interests
- Agricultural Finance: Rural credit risk, Agri-Fintech, and financial inclusion.
- Applied Econometrics: Two-way fixed-effects panel data, spatial data integration, and causal inference.
- Resource & Spatial Economics: Housing markets, land use, and climate variances.
I combine statistical rigor with data engineering skills to handle complex datasets.
- Languages: Python (Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Statsmodels, Fairlearn), R, SQL.
- Methodologies: Regression Analysis (OLS/Logistic), Hypothesis Testing, Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
- Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib/Seaborn.
Education & Continuous Learning
I have built a rigorous foundation in data science through specialized tracks, including:
- Data Analysis & Literacy (DataCamp Certifications)
- Specializations from University of Michigan & Johns Hopkins (via Coursera)
I am currently seeking a PhD or research-focused MS where I can further explore how information systems perpetuate or mitigate social inequalities.
